About 100 000 people (males predominantly) are diagnosed yearly with coronary artery disease. Only specialist examinations can reveal the disease early, therefore the ENEL-MED Medical Center S.A. developed a special program dedicated to the heart - Cardiology fast track - that enables early disease detection and appropriate treatment initiation and thus may prevent myocardial infarction.
The program involves a complete set of examinations: beginning with basic laboratory tests, through specialised studies such as study of coronary vessels calcification - Calcium Score, heart echo, exercise EKG, Holter EKG, to 16-row coronary computed tomography.
