We offer a wide scope of orthopaedic surgery procedures, both classic and endoscopic. Zacisze Hospital is one of the few Polish centres that perform total hip prosthesis implantation of BHR type (capoplasty). This method allows for earlier return to professional and sport activity than it is the case for conventional hip prostheses.
The most prevalent operations in Zacisze Hospital are endoscopic operations of shoulder and knee joints, performed to treat joint instability, to reconstruct ligaments or to treat meniscal injuries. Surgical technique used by our doctors eliminates the necessity to use dressings immobilising the operated joint, which enables early start of rehabilitation and shortens the convalescence period.
Thanks to the methods used in our Hospital, hospitalization time is reduced to 24 hours and sometimes the patient can go home on the same day.
Orthopedic operations are performed in Zacisze Hospital both within contract with the National Health Fund (NFZ) and on a fee-for-service private pay basis.
